SERVICES:
Design/Build
Atherton Design can be the universal contact for your entire project. From design inception to final implementation, we will design, supply product and execute the design. No home is too challenging for us. In fact, the results we can achieve by embracing those challenges are some of the most rewarding.
Design/Supply
Already have a contractor? Atherton Design can function as your designer and supplier. We design, and we supply what we design. We work closely with your contractor to convey all of the design elements and pertinent discussions we’ve had with you.
OUR PROCESS:
Step 1- We schedule an appointment at a convenient time for you. Next, we come to your home and talk about your wants and needs regarding the project you’re looking to do. We’ll discuss your likes and dislikes and try to get a good vision of what you’re looking for. At this appointment, we’ll also take pictures and measure your space. We’ll also schedule your next appointment with us on Zoom.
Step 2- We take all of this information back to our office and put together a preliminary design and an estimate.
Step 3- Our second appointment is to review the design and estimate. As mentioned, this is done on Zoom.
Step 4- If you decide you’d like to work with us, we will send you a Letter of Intent. There is a fee attached with the letter. Once we get the letter and fee back, we can get started on finalizing your design.
Step 5- We go through your scope of work and make all of the decisions that need to be made. Things like cabinetry selections, colors and any design changes are done during this step.
Step 6- Once everything is finalized, we’re ready for a contract. The contract includes all design details, labor scope and the payment schedule.
Step 7- You sign the contract and we get started! We’ll order your product and schedule a start date.
